Privacy Policy

OTWONO Enterprises LLC

Applies to www.otwono.com and otwonostudios.com.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Effective date: October 1, 2026

1. Who we are

1.1. This Privacy Policy explains how OTWONO Enterprises LLC (“OTWONO”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a Florida company, collects, uses and shares information when you use www.otwono.com and otwonostudios.com (the “Sites”).

1.2. OTWONO is responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information described here.

1.3. Privacy contact: billing@otwonostudios.com.

2. The short version

  • We collect what we need to run your account, deliver your purchases, manage your membership and keep the Sites working and secure.
  • Payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
  • We have not added advertising trackers to the Sites.
  • Our play counter counts plays of each song, not who played them.
  • You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information.

3. Information we collect

3.1. Account information

When you create a free OTWONO account, we collect your email address, username, your password (stored only in scrambled, “hashed” form by WordPress, so we cannot read it) and your profile settings. OTWONO Studios connects to your OTWONO account, so the Studios site keeps a linked profile for you.

3.2. Profile and member content on www.otwono.com

If you use member features on www.otwono.com, we store what you add, such as profile details, profile cards and their layout, posts and attachments, follows, friendship requests, stars, saved posts and optional interest choices.

  • You control whether your profile is public or private. A public profile shows its name, biography, layout and the cards you mark public to anyone with the link. Private cards are not shown on public pages.
  • Member photos you upload are kept in a private member photo storage area. When an image is uploaded, it is converted and its location data is removed. Banner and portrait images appear publicly only on public profiles.

3.3. AI connections

Some features on www.otwono.com let you connect your own AI provider account by entering your own API credentials. We store those credentials encrypted. When you ask for an AI feature, the text you select is sent to that provider. Creator results you have not approved are deleted after about 24 hours.

3.4. Purchases

When you buy music, we keep an order record in the OTWONO store on www.otwono.com: your name and email address as provided by PayPal, the items you bought, the amounts, PayPal’s order and payment (capture) reference numbers, and how many of your downloads have been used.

3.5. Membership

If you join the Studios membership, we keep a membership record: your PayPal subscription ID, your price (including your locked price), your membership status, and key dates (such as when you joined, renewed or cancelled), linked to your OTWONO account.

3.6. Support payments

If you send a support payment, we keep your name and email address as provided by PayPal, the amount, the date and PayPal’s transaction reference.

3.7. Messages

If you email us, we keep the message, your email address and our reply.

3.8. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address and your subscription choice.

3.9. Play counter

The Studios album player counts how many times each song is played. A play is counted after about 30 seconds of online listening. The counter stores totals per song only. It does not record who listened. To stop the counter being abused, the server briefly uses a scrambled code made from your IP address and the date; that code cannot be turned back into your IP address and is deleted after about a day.

3.10. Technical and log information

Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically receive and log technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time. This is used to deliver pages, cache them for speed (using LiteSpeed caching), and protect the Sites from abuse and attacks.

3.11. Information saved on your own device

Some features save information in your browser on your own device, not on our servers, such as songs you save for offline listening, your repeat setting, and download links for music you bought. See the Cookie and Local Storage Notice for details.

3.12. What we do not collect

  • We never receive or store full payment card details. PayPal handles them.
  • We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to data brokers.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, or under 16 where local law requires a higher age.

4. How we use information, and our legal bases

Some privacy laws (such as the EU and UK GDPR) require us to explain the legal reason (“legal basis”) for each use. The list below gives what we use information for, the information used, and the legal basis.

  • Creating and running your account, signing you in across OTWONO sites: account information. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Showing your profile and content as you choose: profile and member content. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Running AI features you connect: AI credentials and the text you send. Legal basis: performing our contract with you; your request.
  • Processing purchases, delivering downloads, enforcing download limits: order records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Running your membership, including your locked price: membership records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Sending receipts, download links, membership and account emails: email address, order and membership records. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Answering your questions and refund requests: messages and order records. Legal basis: performing our contract; legitimate interests in helping you.
  • Counting song plays: play totals and a short lived scrambled code. Legal basis: legitimate interests in understanding which songs people enjoy and preventing abuse.
  • Keeping the Sites fast, working and secure, preventing fraud: technical and log information, account and order records. Legal basis: legitimate interests in security and reliability.
  • Keeping business, tax and accounting records: order, membership and support payment records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • Enforcing our terms and defending legal claims: any relevant information. Legal basis: legitimate interests; legal obligation.
  • Sending our newsletter, if you subscribe: email address. Legal basis: your consent (you can withdraw it at any time).

We do not use your information to make decisions about you by purely automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Who we share information with

We share information only as described here.

5.1. Service providers that work for us

  • GreenGeeks hosts the Sites, their databases and files, and the server that sends our emails (from noreply@otwonostudios.com), in the United States.
  • WordPress and WooCommerce are the software the Sites run on. They run on our own hosting, so using them does not send your data to their makers.
  • Our email newsletter provider: if you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is shared with our email newsletter provider so it can send the newsletter to you.

5.2. Payment processor

  • PayPal (including Venmo and card payments through PayPal) processes music purchases, memberships and support payments. PayPal receives your payment details directly and handles them under its own privacy policy. PayPal sends us the order details described in section 3.

5.3. Features on www.otwono.com that use outside services

Some features on www.otwono.com rely on outside services: link safety screening, maps, AI connections you set up yourself, and advertising payments. When you use one of these features, the service involved receives only the information that feature needs to work, and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.

5.4. Content loaded from other companies

When a page loads content from another company, your browser connects to that company, which receives your IP address and browser information and handles it under its own privacy policy.

  • Google Fonts (Google) may load on some pages and in the album player to display fonts.
  • YouTube (Google) and Spotify players on www.otwono.com load only after you click to load them.
  • Suno players appear only on private preview pages.
  • Google Analytics (Google) runs on www.otwono.com only if you agree to analytics in the cookie choice. It measures how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the site footer.
  • The AI provider you connect under section 3.3 receives the text you choose to send.

5.5. Other sharing

  • Public content: anything you make public on your profile can be seen by anyone with the link.
  • Legal reasons: if required by law, court order or valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and property of OTWONO, our users or others.
  • Business transfers: if OTWONO’s business is sold, merged or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner, who must respect this policy.
  • With your permission in any other case.

5.6. No selling, no targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross context behavioral (targeted) advertising, as those terms are defined in US state privacy laws. We have done neither in the past 12 months.

6. How long we keep information

  • Account and profile information: while your account is open, plus 30 days after you delete it, except as noted below.
  • Member photos and content: until you delete them, or until 30 days after you delete your account.
  • Unapproved AI creator results: about 24 hours.
  • AI credentials: until you remove them, or until 30 days after you delete your account.
  • Order, payment, membership and support payment records: 7 years after the transaction, for tax, accounting and dispute purposes.
  • Emails with us (support emails): 3 years.
  • Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
  • Play counter: song totals are kept indefinitely (they contain no personal information). The scrambled anti abuse code is deleted after about a day.
  • Server logs and backups: kept on our hosting provider’s standard cycle, about 30 days, before being overwritten. Deleted information may remain in backups until then.

7. Your rights and choices

7.1. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • get a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we do none of these);
  • object to or restrict some uses, and withdraw consent where we rely on consent;
  • not be treated differently for using your privacy rights.

We offer these rights to all users, wherever they live, as far as we reasonably can.

7.2. How to use your rights

  • Email billing@otwonostudios.com with the subject “Privacy request”. Please send it from the email address on your account if you have one.
  • You can also edit or remove much of your information yourself in your account settings, and make your profile private.
  • We will verify your request, usually by confirming you control the account email. We respond within the time the law requires (generally 30 to 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time).
  • An authorized agent may make a request for you with proof of your permission, where the law allows.
  • Global Privacy Control: we do not sell or share information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing further to opt out of, but we honor this signal where the law requires.

7.3. Some things we may need to keep

We may keep information we are required to keep by law (such as tax records of purchases), or that we need to prevent fraud, resolve disputes or enforce our terms. We will tell you if this applies to your request.

7.4. Appeals and complaints

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy appeal”. We will review it and answer within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state Attorney General or, in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.

7.5. Emails

Emails about your purchases, membership, receipts and account security are part of the service and you cannot unsubscribe from them while you use those services. Signing up for an account does not sign you up for our newsletter. The newsletter is separate, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

8. Children

The Sites are not for children under 13, or under 16 where local law requires a higher age (such as in parts of the European Union), and children below that age may not create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child below that age has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

9.1. We protect information with reasonable measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, encrypted storage of AI credentials, private storage for member photos and for purchased download files, and limits on access to our systems.

9.2. Payment card details are handled by PayPal and never stored by OTWONO.

9.3. No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your download links private. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. Users outside the United States

OTWONO is based in the United States, and the Sites are hosted by GreenGeeks in the United States. If you use the Sites from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. We rely on the need to perform our contract with you for these transfers, and on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers where required.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell you on the Sites and, for members, by email before the change takes effect.
